About us!

Mother Hubbards Cupboard was first organized in December of 1995 by Diana Hanson-Muir of Anamosa, Iowa. Since then, Diana has hosted more than 16 countries around the world and 32 counties across the United States. A former host of the WorldGenWeb, Diana became an accredited genealogist of the LDS Church in 1975, while a student at BYU and has continued her genealogy work throughout the years.

Diana, aka Dr. Diana Muir, currently works full time as the superintendent of an online high school, delivering accredited online courses to a world wide community. She is also the Director of the Board for the Hawking Institute, an NGO of the United Nations which works with the UN and UNESCO to provide free, equitable education to 3rd world countries. To visit some of Dr. Muir's other websites, please follow the links below.

Note: I work full time and just recently combined all the websites into one. I only have the weekends (when I don't attend National Guard meetings and church) to work on the webpages, of which there are over 850 pages. Therefore a lot of pages are in progress and some links may not be working yet. If you have trouble finding anything, please email me for assistance. I have everything backed up on the hard drive and can easily send it to you through email.

Please consider the amount of work I have to do when criticizing the condition of the pages. It's not an intentional lack of oversight, just too much to do and too few brain cells....
