Course Description
Finding
your ancestors in Scotland is often difficult if they arrived in the
United States before 1840. This course is not only designed to help you
locate your ancestors in Scotland, but to also become familiar with the
different records that available once you locate your family within a
particular county or 'shire'. We will learn to read records and do
research in them from the late 1800's all the way back to the early 6th
century and learn how the history of Scotland affected the people who
inhabited it.
