Course Description
Finding
your ancestors in Germany is often difficult if they arrived in the
United States in the latter 1800's. This course is not only designed to
help you locate your ancestors in germany, but to also become familiar
with the different records that available once you locate your family
within a particular province or county. We will learn to read records
and do research in Germany from the late 1800's all the way back to the
early 6th century and learn how the history of Germany affected the
people who inhabited it.

Grading Policy: There
is no grade given as this is a special interest course and is a
non-credit course. This course can be taken free and is open to the
public. Lessons will be posted one at a time on a weekly or bi-weekly
