"Port Arthur, Convict Built Church"
Course Description
Australian
genealogical research can be mind-boggling for those who no longer live
in Australia and are at a great distance away. Because so much of
Australia's history is entirely unique, there are an abundance of
records which are totally different in scope and makeup than anywhere
else in the world.
We will attempt to review these records in the same
manner as the other classes; vital records, census records, probates,
ect. But we will also introduce a variety of new types of records and
research methods that might not be applicable to anywhere else in the
world except the South Pacific.
Hold on to your lava-lava's and keep a smile on your
face, because you're about to take a trip down-under! Enjoy the course
and let me know if you have any questions.
Instructor:
Diana Muir, Ph. D., History, M.A. Future Studies, Professional Genealogist.
